A mushroom is neither vegetal neither animal, it takes part of the fungus category.

Some history : mushrooms have interested humans since a long time, but only in 1795 a botanist named Jean Jacques Paulet (1740-1826) defines a science of mushrooms as a mycology.

Classification
- Microscopic mushrooms called "inferiors" (mould, mycosis)
- Macroscopic mushrooms called "superiors" (boletus, pleurotus, amanita)
Delices des Bois is only interested by macroscopic edible mushrooms that are used in various delicious receipts.
KERNEL WALNUTS
Kernel Welnuts from latin: nux, it is a dry fruit issued from a walnut tree. It's a drupe composed with a non edible part, a nut and thin shell.
The edible fruit may be presented in different forms : entire, halves, quarters, pieces, broken, powder.
